The Target itself is a terrific store with a tremendous amount of assortment of products at great prices. It is also very clean. Now that I have told you why it should be rated a 5 star, why did I rate it a 2 star?? SERVICE
Service is inaccessible at this store-either on the show floor or at checkout. Last time I was there they had two of 20+ lanes open for checkout with a line of 15 people.
In summary the store is not bad if you have another 15-20 minutes available for service and check out.
UPDATE- During my 12/4 visit they had ZERO cashiers working. only self checkout.
Dawn in the pharmacy department is very rude. I came in and purchased some items near the pharmacy department and the store was packed with long lines almost out the door. The pharmacy department didn’t have one customer and I asked her if I could check out my 4 items and she told me that she can’t check out anything from target at the pharmacy which o know is false! She was very rude and very lazy as it wouldn’t take her 5 seconds to ring up 4 items when no one was in-site at the pharmacy! The lines at target were sooo long with only 4 registers open!
I've had good and bad experience with Target in Wylie. This past visit wasn't ideal. I was returning items under Cat & Jack Warranty Policy as stated online. My items did qualify, but I was informed this location will not honor the 1 year warranty as stated on Target website any longer. The manager was not able to provide any written proof of the change nor tell me if all stores were not doing this. Only stated she knew Wylie and McKinney stores were.
When I lived in McKinney I never had issues looking at this one. Anytime I have a pick up order. I feel like I am the last one to get my order. And I’m always waiting at least 20 minutes in the parking lot. There is no reason for that ever. There were four of us waiting for at least 15 minutes, and no employees ever came out. And then, once I finally start seeing employees, all of the orders are being given to the cars that were here after us.
They could definitely hire more staff and probably treat the ones they have there better. Overheard a cashier get berated. Not only was it awkward it seemed wildly unnecessary. A few more open check lanes instead of having self checkout be crazy would be an improvement. The older woman at self checkout (maybe Terry or Tracy) was absolutely delightful.
Decided to try and beat crowds and went on a Thursday at 12pm. Lines and more lines. Only 1-2 registers open and only 3 of the 4 self check outs working. Lines at self check out got held up due to people waiting for cashiers to fix their screens. This place is obviously short staffed. I would recommend going to different location.
Avoid this location at your best if you need to return or deal with customer service. Worst experience in my life. An elderly lady at the customer service was extremely rude for returning. Not asking the reason for return. She made me feel bad by asking is this worn?

I also had to look for the exact same product in the entire store to find barcode for her. It is ridiculous!
Go to fairview location. They are way nicer and helpful with returns or exchanges.
Awesome shopping experience! Cory at guest services was so helpful. He helped us find a countercade that showed up as in stock on the app but we couldn’t find it anywhere. He found the last one in the back!
